post wedding portrait session

Celebrating their wedding day with a Portrait session in Prague!

The very elegant and sophisticated Suki & Stephen believe that life is an adventure. They are accustomed to the finer things in life as they work very hard to achieve it. And yet, these very successful and busy people are two of the nicest, sweetest people you could ever wish to meet.

When it came time to marry they wanted a unique experience - one that suited their style and taste. They could have married anywhere in the world but they wanted something a bit different. Their idea: a castle wedding somewhere in Europe where the medieval charms of a lost Bohemia can still be found.

On a winter day, with close family members & friends in attendance, they lived their dream of marrying in a candlelit ceremony in the former royal Hluboka Castle. The beautiful bride & her grooms beaming smiles said it all.

After champagne toasts by their best friends, they walked around the stunning castle grounds to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

To cap off their wedding adventures, we created a very special post wedding portrait session of them in Prague. This picture of them enjoying the solitude of a majestic view overlooking Prague was one of the first captured on that misty morning. As it was the same view from their hotel suite they asked if I can capture this for them. It is one of many iconic photos captured on that wonderful day where a young couple lived their dreams of marrying in the Czech Republic.

Post Wedding & Honeymoon photos from Prague

More details about this photo. This picture was captured near the statue of Bedrich Smetana at Lavka, a public space that overlooks the Charles Bridge. It also has one of the most beautiful views of the Castle overlooking the Charles Bridge and Mala Strana below.

The use of Canon 70-200 2.8L at its longest was needed to compress the background as well as the put the focus on the couple in the frame. Post processing was done in Capture One. Photoshop was used to remove several people who were sitting in the chairs nearby. As it was captured very early in the morning there were no tourists boats in the frame.
