This cinematic inspired portrait of a beautiful bride spinning her dress was captured at the overlook at Letna Park. It is a picture perfect location for couples wishing to have the gorgeous scenery of Prague in their photos. It was a big hit with Catherine & Cedric.Son who wanted to explore the very best that Prague has to offer.
They had the lavish gala wedding back home in Korea, it was filled with all of the pageantry and revelry that they rightfully deserved as two very successful business entrepreneurs. Yet there was one thing missing: wedding portraits that they could hang happily on their walls. As they explained their wedding day was so choreographed they did not have time for a proper portrait session - there were simply too many people to deal with.
When putting together their travels of Europe they contacted me and asked me to right that wrong. On a cool, crisp Autumn day they began their session just as the sky provided them with a gorgeous backdrop of colors and architecture. They were all smiles as they experienced the incredible and unique locations. This whimsical portrait of the bride spinning in her wedding dress was unplanned and unscripted. Sometimes it really is serendipitous.
It beautifully captures the fun that these two very elegant people were experiencing on that wonderful day in Prague.
For couples visiting Prague for the first time we can either offer several routes that takes in the most beautiful locations in the shortest amount of time. Or you can offer up your wish list and we can take it from there. For Catherine & Cedric.Son they simply asked that I take them on a tour of places that I felt would suit their style and taste. Their session is quite unique in that it was split up in to two separate parts. The first part took place in the very early hours before the sun rose to ensure we were ready for the sunrise. After shooting at many locations we took a break. After a 2nd round of hair & makeup we did a small bridal portrait session at their hotel (The Augustine) before we headed out for a late afternoon - night session. Capturing portraits of couples at night in Prague is usually problematic due to the many people out and about. Thankfully we were able to capture their night session at locations that had less people and thus allowing these two to have a far more enjoyable session.
